VCCV Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

Connecting community, changing lives.

· The Grout Museum and Bluedorn Science Imaginarium are hosting Museum Madness on January 23. Volunteers are needed to assist with activities during various shifts from 9:00 am - 5:00 p.m.

· Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking mentors for Community Based and School Based Programs. The Community Based program lasts for 6-10 hours per month. The School Based program meets for 30-60 minutes per week for an 18 month commitment. Volunteers age 16 and older are welcome.

· North Star has a group of individuals with disabilities who are interested in Tai Chi and are seeking a patient and willing instructor to teach the class twice monthly during the day on site.

· Adults, age 21 and over, are needed to judge speeches and interviews for the Iowa Academic Decathlon competition on January 27 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Grundy Center.
