- Volunteers for Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center are needed to accompany residents to medical appointments when staff are unable to attend. Training is provided.
- Adults, age 21 and over, are needed to judge speeches and interviews for the Iowa Academic Decathlon competition on January 27 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Grundy Center.
- Welcome visitors at the Victorian Home & Carriage House Museum and share stories of historic Cedar Falls. Provide visitors with an introduction to the museum, assist with gift shop purchases, and answer general questions. Hosts usually volunteer for three-hour shifts one or more times a month. Shifts are available February through December during weekends. Training is provided. Volunteers should be 18 or older.
- Do you enjoy Valentine’s Day? Assist with a British low tea and learn about the history of Valentine’s Day at the Grout Museum. You will assist registered attendees in creating a Danish Heart Basket, paper roses and Valentine’s in addition to assisting staff in serving the tea from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Volunteers should be 14 or older.
