
• The Grout Museum District is searching for National History Day Judges to assist with the evaluation of student led research and the showcase of student work for grades 6-8 from 12:30 – 2:00 a.m. on April 1. Packets explaining the judging process will be shared and an informational session will be held prior to the competition
• The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is looking for volunteers to advocate during Combat Hunger April 1 – 3 at local grocery stores. Volunteers will pass out information about how hunger affects the community, how they can help, and will solicit donations. Shifts are two hours long.
• Help Cedar Valley Friends of the Family take a stand against sexual assault, domestic violence, and homelessness by greeting and checking in guests April 7 from 5:45 - 9:00 p.m. at Chefs Take a Stand fundraising event in Waterloo and assist with auction to make sure this amazing event runs smoothly.

• Up with Families needs supportive and positive attitude volunteers 18 years of age or older to work one on one with a child during the event April 9 – 10 in Waterloo. The shifts are a minimum of 4 hours each. Volunteers will be assigned a child with a disability or a sibling of a child with a disability. A brief training at Nazareth Lutheran Church will take place on Sunday, April 3 and Monday, April 4 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
