• The YWCA of Black Hawk County will host the “Young Women on the Move” annual conference offering interactive workshops for 6th grade girls on April 29 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event is at Orchard Hill Church for volunteers age 18 and over.
• The Cedar Heights Elementary School PTA is in need of volunteers age 18 and over to assist with the Fun Fair on May 6 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Volunteers will help students with games, inflatables and activities.
• The Grout Museum District needs assistance 8:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. during upcoming museum school weeks. Opportunity includes greeting students and teachers upon arrival, guiding participants between activities and assisting staff with hands-on activities. Volunteers age 18 and over.

• symphonyCycle is a brand new cycling festival May 14 combining music, cycling and scenery in a one-of-a-kind event to support the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony and kick-off Iowa’s summer cycling season. Volunteers age 14 and older will be assigned to jobs based on their availability.
