VCCV Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

Connecting community, changing lives.

• The Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging (NEI3A) is seeking volunteers to distribute Farmers Market checks to seniors at multiple locations in Waterloo beginning June 1. Shifts typically last 3 hours and a brief training will be provided.

• Do you enjoy volunteering with children and the movie Frozen? Join in the fun at the Grout Museum District and assist with a Frozen-themed British low tea on June 11 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Assist the attendees in creating a marshmallow Olaf, paper snowflakes, antlers like Sven and more!

• The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is seeking volunteer scorekeepers for the Iowa Scholastic Trapshooting Championships held June 9-12 at the Cedar Falls Gun Club at 6138 Cedar Wapsie Road. Scorekeepers age 18 and over are needed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The Bluedorn Scence Imaginarium at the Grout Museum District needs Weekly Wonders Assistants for various activities June 14-17 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Volunteer 2 hours or more on any day during this week.
