VCCV Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

• Aspire Therapeutic Riding Program’s Camp Hope is a day camp that serves individuals with and without disabilities through horseback riding, grooming, and other activities. Volunteers are needed at a variety of times August 1 – 5.

• If you care about the environment, clean energy, combating climate change, activism, and making a difference in the community we need you!NextGen Climate Iowa seeks volunteers to help register voters, make phone calls, plan events, and be volunteer coordinators in various shifts daily.

• The Back to School Project provides new school supplies to youth in Black Hawk County. Volunteers are needed to assist with distribution to students at Lou Henry Elementary School August 18 – 20.

• Become a crisis volunteer for Riverview Center by completing a 30 hour training August 8-11 and 15-18 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
