• The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is searching for volunteer drivers/riders to pick up donations from mail routes in the Cedar Falls and Waterloo on May 14 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Additional volunteers will be needed to sort donations on site from 1:00 until 3:00 and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

• symphonyCycle is a brand new cycling festival May 14 combining music, cycling and scenery in a one-of-a-kind event to support the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony and kick-off Iowa’s summer cycling season. Volunteers age 14 and older will be assigned to jobs based on their availability.

• Assist with a British low tea and learn about Victorian etiquette at the Grout Museum District on May 14 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Volunteers will assist staff in serving the tea. The age minimum to volunteer is 14 years old.

• Honor veterans and families by helping during the Memorial Day Parade Celebration in downtown Waterloo at the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum on May 30. Assistance is needed from 9:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. with set up, handing out lunches, making and serving lemonade, and clean up.
