ā¢ Frank B. Stevens (kmaq.com) ā Family and friends are remembering Frank Burton Stevens, born in Clinton in 1949, who later farmed and worked across several eastern Iowa communities. A graveside service will be held Aug. 12 at McCausland Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at McCausland Methodist Church, with Carson Celebration of Life Center assisting the family.

ā¢ Davenport boy with cystic fibrosis selected as 2026 Iowa Kid Captain (wqad.com) ā A Davenport 6-year-old with cystic fibrosis has been chosen as a 2026 Kid Captain for an Iowa Hawkeyes football game, highlighting his medical journey and familyās fundraising for research. Heās one of three Quad Cities-area honorees, alongside Harlow Taube of Orion and the late Ellie Walker of Clinton who will be recognized posthumously for her courageous cancer battle. Ā Ā Ā
