• Des Moines Man Arrested Following Council Bluffs Child Predator Investigation (westerniowatoday.com) — Council Bluffs police led an online child exploitation investigation that resulted in the arrest of a Des Moines man now held in Pottawattamie County Jail on multiple felony charges. Officers are urging local parents and guardians to talk with kids about online safety, keep a close eye on their internet use, and report any suspicious behavior to Council Bluffs law enforcement.

Josh Turek, post his strongest fundraising yet in a high-profile U.S. Senate race against Republican Ashley Hinson. Turek narrowly outraised Hinson last quarter, but Hinson still holds nearly triple the cash on hand, boosted by major national Republican spending, while Democratic-aligned groups are heavily investing to keep Turek competitive.
