Update: Julien Dubuque Bridge Set for Multi-Phase Closures Starting June 10, 2026: What Drivers Need to Know (dubuqueinpursuitnews.com) — Drivers who rely on the Julien Dubuque Bridge will face phased lane closures and a full month-long shutdown starting June 10, with detours adding 20–40 minutes between Dubuque and East Dubuque. The Iowa DOT project runs into mid-September and includes deck, rail, and painting repairs. A free shuttle between Dubuque and East Dubuque will help commuters during the disruption.
