• Obituary: John Harms (northscottpress.com) — Eldridge is mourning the passing of 75-year-old resident John T. Harms Jr., remembered for his many talents, including work as a licensed hypnotherapist and local photographer. A North Scott graduate with deep Quad Cities ties, he leaves a large family and many friends. Memorials are suggested to the Scott County Humane Society or Eldridge Volunteer Fire Department.
