Mark your calendars for a fun cultural evening at Johnston Public Library on Saturday, February 15th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for a JPL gallery night opening. Besides books, movies and music, Johnston Public Library is now a place for fine art. In the west hall, we have a small gallery space that is reserved for displaying the work of local Iowa artists. The new exhibition will feature three local artists: Amy Wood Thomas, Lisa Lawshe and Michael Burgher.
Come for the art. Stay for the snacks. Mingle with interesting people. Everyone is welcome; no registration necessary.
