Adult Winter Reading Program at the Library

Turn over a new leaf with us this year with our 2012 Adult Winter Reading program called Fresh Start.

It’s that time of year—people are looking ahead to the new year and making resolutions. Here at the Johnston Public Library we are doing the same. Turn over a new leaf with us this year with our 2012 Adult Winter Reading program called Fresh Start.

Fresh Start reading program is all about new beginnings; our reading program display has novels and memoirs featuring individuals making big changes in their lives. We have also pulled a selection of non-fiction books in areas where people typically want to make changes in their lives: self-help, diet, exercise, and personal finance.

Unlike keeping resolutions, signing up for the Fresh Start reading program at the library is easy. Stop in to receive your Winter Reading book log and book review bookmark. The book log is designed like a to-do list; you must complete at least 2 of the 4 items on the list. After you have completed your book log, bring it back to the library for a prize. It’s that simple!
