EBooks and audiobooks provide all of the pleasure and variety of traditional books with the convenience and portability of your smart phone, iPad or eReader and make taking multiple titles along for the ride a hassle free endeavor.

The library has a great selection of both fiction and non-fiction titles available for
check-out through a program called Wilbor.

Wilbor is an association of participating Iowa libraries that pool resources in order to provide Iowa library patrons access to a great selection of adult, children and teen titles. The best part—it’s free for you and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Wilbor eBooks and audiobooks are compatible with a number of different devices
including Sony Reader, Nook, Kobo, iPhones, iPads, Blackberrys, Androids, your
home computer, and now even with Amazon’s Kindle eReader.

Checking out eBooks and audiobooks does require a little bit of initial setup; in most cases, you will need to download some free software to your home computer before browsing Wilbor’s virtual library. The Quick Start Guide located under the Help Menu on the Wilbor Home Page is a fast and easy way for a first-time user to be guided through the set-up process, and of course, you can always stop by the library for a little one-on-one help.
