Green Run Adds Cash Prizes for Top 10K Finishers

Tackle the Cross Country 10K Run or 5K Run or Walk

Just in:  Metro Waste Authority will award $2,000 in cash prizes to top finishers in the Green Run 10K. The first three male and three female finishers will receive $500 for first, $300 for second and $200 for third.* If you’re not up for the 10K, then tackle the 5K run or walk. All three cross country races are part of the annual Green Run held on Sept. 16. Get registered!

10 A.M. Sunday, Sept. 16
Packets are available at 8 a.m. race day, and include a sustainable T-shirt made from recycled plastic bottles. The run/walk will be capped off with a celebration featuring a DJ, food (including the famous pork chop on-a-stick) and awards for 24 division winners.
