The Home and Garden Show is a fun, warm way for you to spend your upcoming weekend. The show is full of exhibitors who can help generate ideas to
improve the interior and exterior of your home. Even if home improvement plans
are in your distant future, it’s fun to dream; plus, we’ll be there!

If there are things in your home that you’d like to get rid of, we can help. After all, we know where it should go! Stop by, and we’ll help you determine if items belong in your Curb It! or garbage cart, a Compost It! bag, or should be taken to the Metro Hazardous Waste Drop-Off.

What We Will Be Doing
Not only will be available to answer your disposal questions, you can also put your recycling knowledge to the test! Periodically throughout the show, we’ll be testing metro residents on their recycling knowledge through an interactive quiz. Winners will receive a Curb It! T-shirt while supplies last.

We also know compost. Compost is a perfect top dressing for your lawn and garden instead of using lawn fertilizers (a hazardous product). Metro Waste Authority will hand out samples of compost on a first come basis.
