Collection Delayed One Day After Christmas
Recycling, yard waste and garbage will not be collected in Central Iowa on Christmas Day. Regular collection is delayed one day the remainder of the week, with regular Friday collection on Saturday.

Through Metro Waste Authority’s Compost It! sticker program, residents in participating communities can recycle their live tree at the curb Dec. 31 through Jan. 11, 2013. Please review the details about your community’s collection.
