Even with the unseasonably warm winter, this time of year we all need a little something to look forward to so we can make it over the winter hump. Let us keep you busy, informed and entertained with these fun events and services at Johnston Public Library.
Adult Winter Reading Program
There’s still time to sign up for Johnston Public Library’s Adult Winter Reading Program. It’s pretty simple; sign up, complete a book log, and get a prize. Winter Reading at the library runs now through January 31, 2012.
Wowbrary at the Library
We are excited to unveil our new email service called Wowbrary. Wowbrary is a
free email sent to your smartphone or home computer that alerts you to new books, movies, and music that the library has on order each week. This is a great way to stay on top of exciting new material as well as to zero in on subjects of specific interest in both fiction and nonfiction areas like health and wellness, business, mysteries, or graphic novels. Signing up is simple; just click on the Wowbrary icon at www.johnstonlibrary.com and enter the library’s zipcode, 50131.
