December Events at Johnston Public Library

Johnston Public Library has a great offering of kids and tweens activities in December. Save the date for these exciting upcoming programs:

Holidays in Johnston
Saturday, December 7 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Children and their families are invited for an afternoon of holiday fun. Come anytime between 2:30 and 4:30 for a visit with Santa, holiday stories and crafts, cookie decorating and eating, gingerbread house displays and judging, Hy-Vee food crafts and special music. The afternoon kicks off when Santa arrives on the fire truck at 2:30 and ends with a prize drawing and tree lighting with the mayor. No registration is necessary.

‘Phun’ with Physics
Wednesday, December 11 at 3:30pm
Hands-on fun with science and problem solving for students in grades 3 through 5. This class is led by a JHS/Central Academy senior. Please call the library at 515-278-5233 to register.

Friday, December 27 at 10:30am
