Old Hazardous Waste Items Stored Up in Your Home?
The City of West Des Moines is hosting a Hazardous Waste Drop-Off event for all metro residents.

Metro Waste Authority and the western suburbs partner every year to help residents get rid of unused hazardous products in a safe, smart way. Look under your sink and in your garage for items with labels reading: Flammable, Keep Away from Children, Toxic, and Corrosive. These are the types of items accepted for free.
The City of West Des Moines hosts the next event from 8 a.m. to Noon, June 29 at Valley Stadium, 4440 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines.
