Her faith, volunteer work, and caring spirit touched many local families, and a funeral service will be held at a later date, with memorials suggested to PEO.

Keokuk's Boatman signs with Cornell College (mississippivalleypublishing.com) — Keokuk standout guard Kendra Boatman is taking her record-setting Keokuk High School basketball career to Cornell College in Mount Vernon after signing her letter of intent. She reflects on choosing a Division III program that fits academically and personally, while her coach praises her work ethic, all-around game, and commitment to representing Keokuk well in the next chapter.
