Knoxville School Board Approves Teacher Librarian Agreement with Pleasantville Schools (kniakrls.com) ā Knoxville families should know the school board has approved a shared teacher librarian agreement with Pleasantville, keeping the librarian employed by Knoxville while Pleasantville buys services on a per-diem basis. The one-year contract, which automatically renews unless either district opts out by March 1, runs through June 30, 2027 and shapes how library services are staffed and funded.

Rural Iowa gets $15.9M boost for cancer screenings, radon prevention (nonpareilonline.com) ā Knoxville hosted state and federal health leaders at Marion County Public Healthās office to discuss $15.9 million in new funding for rural cancer screening and radon prevention across Iowa. While the money will be spread statewide, the roundtable in Knoxville highlighted how local and neighboring counties could see expanded prevention, detection, and treatment options in coming years.
