• RMC Secures Grant from Foundation for the Future of Delaware County for Surgical Expansion – Mix 94.7 KMCH (kmch.com) — Regional Medical Center in Manchester has added a specialized warming cabinet to its new 18,400-square-foot surgery addition, thanks to a $6,716 grant from the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County. The equipment is designed to keep patients safely warm during surgery, which can reduce complications, speed healing, and improve comfort for local residents who rely on RMC for care.
   

• Iowa grooming case dismissed for 'lack of proof' of sexual intent (amestrib.com) — A Nevada man's grooming charge was dismissed after a Delaware County judge ruled prosecutors couldn't prove he intended unlawful sexual conduct with an undercover Manchester police officer posing as a teen. The sting involved Manchester officers and the sheriff's office arranging an arrest at Schram City Park, raising local questions about how Iowa's grooming law applies when the supposed victim is 16.
