Marion City Hall and other City offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Regular business hours resume on Friday, Nov. 12. Police, Fire and other critical City services continue to be provided.

Garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected according to the normal schedule on Thursday. The Public Services Facility and Yard Waste Facility, located at 195 35th Street, will be closed.
The temporary locations for the Marion Public Library (Uptown Branch at 1064 7th Avenue, Marion Annex at 4151 3rd Avenue, and Technology Station at Marion Columbus Club, 5650 Kacena Avenue) will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 for staff training. They will resume normal business hours on Friday, Nov. 12.

Utility payments will be accepted online or via the drive-up drop box located outside the Marion Water Department office, now located at 3050 5th Avenue.
