Marshalltown Animal Rescue League pauses cat intakes, cites overcrowding and contract dispute with county (kcci.com) — Marshalltown’s Animal Rescue League has stopped taking in cats and is no longer handling animal calls outside city limits, citing overcrowding and an unresolved contract with Marshall County.
