• City of New Hampton City to Borrow More Money to Complete Design for New Waste Water Plant – 95.1 The Bull (951thebull.com) — New Hampton residents may soon see the city borrow an additional $1.44 million at 0% interest to finish designing a new wastewater treatment plant, with a public hearing set for Monday night’s council meeting. The project’s costs have risen since the original 2021 loan, and officials are targeting completion in late 2026. The council may also approve hiring a new police officer.
