• Grace Lewis wins NICL Girls Conference Meet (communitynewspapergroup.com) — Oelwein golfer Grace Lewis captured medalist honors at the NICL girls conference meet in Waterloo, leading the Huskies to a tie for fifth place with Denver. She carded a 77 on the par-72 course, while several Oelwein teammates also posted scoring rounds as they prepare for Friday’s Class 2A regional meet at Durant’s Wahkonsa Country Club.
