State conservation officers say alcohol has been ruled out, but the investigation continues as officials monitor the conditions of the young passengers taken to local hospitals.

The semi driver from Sioux Falls was cited for failure to yield after the crash, which totaled the car and briefly disrupted a key route used by many Okoboji-area drivers.
