All were wearing life jackets, and alcohol has been ruled out as a factor. The roundup also details several recent traffic and train-related accidents across the region.

Collision Of Car & Semi Just West Of Spirit Lake Results In Minor Injuries (exploreokoboji.com) — A Milford woman suffered minor injuries Monday morning when her car struck a semi that pulled out in front of her at Highway 9 and 210th Avenue, just west of Spirit Lake. The semi driver from Sioux Falls was cited for failure to yield after the crash, which totaled the car and briefly disrupted a key route used by many Okoboji-area drivers.
