• Marion County sheriff takes landslide victory over primary opponent (newtondailynews.com) — An Oskaloosa native, Marion County sheriff Jason Sandholdt, has overwhelmingly won the Republican primary for Iowa House District 37, positioning a hometown figure for potential service at the State Capitol.
