• Primghar man charged for taking Suburban (nwestiowa.com) — A Primghar resident has been charged after admitting he drove a Chevrolet Suburban without the owner’s permission and never returned it. The vehicle, reported stolen in March, was later found near his parents’ home in Primghar with the battery removed. Authorities issued a warrant in April before his arrest last weekend.

• Sheldon woman charged after setting fire (nwestiowa.com) — Court documents from Primghar detail charges against a Sheldon woman accused of unsafe burning and later drug possession after being taken to the O’Brien County Jail in Primghar. The incident began with a backyard fire in Sheldon and led to multiple drug and contraband charges following medical clearance and booking procedures.

• Paullina Woman Accused Of Stealing Thousands From Older Impaired Man (kiwaradio.com) — A Paullina woman faces multiple felony charges after police say she used an older Sheldon man’s bank account without permission, allegedly spending more than $18,500. She was arrested on a warrant and briefly held at the O’Brien County Jail in Primghar before posting bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday.
