• Hegg participates in three-year stroke-care initiative (nwestiowa.com) — Rock Valley’s Hegg Health Center has completed a three-year partnership with the American Heart Association to strengthen stroke rehabilitation, but staff say the evidence-based practices and teamwork will continue. Local therapists describe how intensive therapy in the first six months after a stroke, often delivered right at Hegg after patients return from Sioux Falls, can dramatically improve recovery and prevent future strokes.
