• Two jailed for marijuana in Sheldon stop (nwestiowa.com) — Two South Sioux City residents were arrested after a May 28 traffic stop in Sheldon, where police say they detected marijuana coming from a van on 16th Street near Second Avenue. Officers reported finding loose marijuana and THC, leading to possession charges for both occupants and additional driving-related charges for the driver. 
• Baseball Recap: Sheldon Gets the Win (maxpreps.com) — Sheldon’s Orabs baseball team just earned their first win of the season, edging South O’Brien 11–10 and extending their streak over the Wolverines to eight straight victories. The Orabs, now 1-3-1, head on the road to face a tough West Lyon pitching staff Wednesday night, while South O’Brien hosts Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.
