• Avera discontinues obstetric services in Worthington (dglobe.com) — Residents needing maternity care should know Avera Worthington has stopped offering obstetric services, and patients are now being directed to Avera OB providers in Spirit Lake among other locations. Well-woman, infant, and pediatric care will still be available in Worthington, but gynecologic surgeries and deliveries will require travel to these other communities.
