Ever Stepped Over A Girl On The Sidewalk Wrapped Up In A Leash?

I kind of figure embarrassing things are part of dog ownership (my dogs might claim embarrassing things are part of living with me) and just laugh when they happen.

Have you ever found yourself laying on the sidewalk, leash wrapped around your legs, with a dog at the end of it?

Until you have you really shouldn't judge the rest of us. It hurts. And it happens to the best of us. My pup was just so excited to say hi to the jogger ahead that he ran circles around me, completely forgetting his leash manners!

Events such as the aforementioned often seem to come along with pet ownership. Like for instance a few weeks ago when I was leisurely typing along on my laptop on my front porch, leash around my foot. I'm sure you can already predict what the dog at the other end of the leash did when he saw a dog across the street... Yes, he catapulted me off the porch by my foot. I landed on the sidewalk, leg in air attached to a barking, jumping, excited dog. In a skirt. (I was in a skirt, not the dog.) The worst part of the whole incident was the scarred looks on the dog walkers' faces.

What sorts of stories do you have from pet ownership? Tell me I'm not the only one...
