Waukee-Based SyrVet Sold, to Move Out of State
The business sells animal products and supplies to customers in 30 countries.

Waukee-based SyrVet has been purchased and the new owner plans to eventually move the veterinary instrument business out of state, the Des Moines Register reports.
Neogen Corp., an animal and food safety company with global operations, said SyrVet would continue to operate from Waukee during the transition, “but ultimately product engineering, manufacturing, and distribution would be relocated to Neogen facilities in Lansing, Mich., and Lexington, Ky.,” according to the Register.
The story did not say how many jobs would be affected.
