At the same meeting, council members penalized a local retailer for tobacco violations, approved selling a fire truck to Fayette, and advanced street, budget, and vehicle decisions affecting city services.
   

• NFV splits with MFL MarMac Monbday night (communitynewspapergroup.com) — North Fayette Valley and MFL MarMac split a Monday night baseball doubleheader played in West Union, with NFV winning the opener 10-0 before dropping the second game 7-6.
