• Councilperson takes on trail detour scofflaws (axios.com) — Trail users in Windsor Heights are ignoring Walnut Creek Trail detours near the 73rd Street reconstruction, prompting Councilperson Lauren Campbell to post humorous warning signs to keep people out of dangerous construction zones. Police are currently issuing warnings, but trespassers could eventually face fines up to $500 for bypassing closures and cutting through private property.
