• Starting the Drake Relays off on the right paw: 47th Beautiful Bulldog Contest winner crowned (weareiowa.com) — A Windsor Heights rescue pup named Zeus brought home the Rescue Dog Award at Drake University’s 47th Beautiful Bulldog Contest, kicking off Drake Relays festivities in Des Moines. While Iowa Falls bulldog Flora claimed the overall crown, several central Iowa dogs, including Zeus, were recognized, giving local pet lovers plenty to cheer about close to home.
