• PREP – NCKL Spring Week 12 Recap (ksal.com) — Concordia High School’s Panther teams wrapped up spring with baseball reaching the Class 4A state tournament at 20-4, while softball finished a rebuilding year at 3-17. The recap also tracks how fellow North Central Kansas League schools, including Rock Creek and Wamego, fared in their state baseball and softball runs. 
• Pop Up event announced this year in Concordia (sabethaherald.com) — Concordia will host the Big Kansas Road Trip Pop Up on Saturday, Oct. 3, bringing visitors for special tours, talks, and behind-the-scenes access at local attractions. Residents can expect extra attention on sites like the National Orphan Train Complex, Camp Concordia POW Camp, and the Brown Grand Theatre as Kansas Explorers Club members and other travelers explore the community.
• Kevin Lee Kindel (bladeempire.com) — Concordia-area residents are mourning the passing of 49-year-old Aurora resident Kevin Lee Kindel, a Concordia High School graduate and longtime Cloud Ceramics employee. Memorials in his honor may be made to The Freedom Club in Concordia, supporting locals struggling with alcoholism, through Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, two sons, and extended family.
