• Boil-water advisories lifted for local communities, including Derby (kansas.com) — Derby residents no longer need to boil their tap water after state health officials lifted the advisory late Friday for the city and several nearby communities. The advisory followed a loss of water pressure linked to power issues at Wichita’s water facilities, though some surrounding areas like Rose Hill and certain rural water districts remain under boil-water instructions.
