• 70th and Final Pioneer Harvest Fiesta is October 1-4 in Fort Scott: Volunteers Needed (fortscott.biz) — Fort Scott is gearing up for the 70th and final Pioneer Harvest Fiesta, starting with a parade downtown on October 1 and continuing October 2–4 at the Bourbon County Fairgrounds. Residents can explore antique farm equipment, demonstrations, food, and a quilt show, and volunteers are invited to help run exhibits and get in free.
