Crews battle fire in north Hutchinson (dailydispatch.com) — Firefighters in Hutchinson knocked down a Monday morning house fire on Curtis Street near Farmington Road, keeping damage to the back of the home, roof, and attic. A downed power line initially blocked access, but Evergy crews made the scene safe so firefighters could fully extinguish hot spots. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported while the cause remains under investigation. 
2. Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson Welcomes Kaheem 'Ky' Washington as Assistant Site Director at Avenue A (adastraradio.com) — Families connected to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson will see a new face helping lead the Avenue A Club, as Kaheem “Ky” Washington steps in as Assistant Site Director.
