• Hutchinson Community Foundation Names Program Officer to Support Scholarships, Leadership Development (adastraradio.com) — Hutchinson Community Foundation has hired longtime local nonprofit professional Elicia Lance as its new program officer, strengthening support for area scholarships and leadership programs. Lance, a Hutchinson resident with deep Reno County involvement, will oversee scholarships, leadership development, and the Youth Philanthropy Council, shaping opportunities for local students and emerging community leaders.
   

• Family Community Theater to perform 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' (hutchpost.com) — Hutchinson’s Family Community Theatre is staging “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” this Thursday through Sunday, with evening shows and a Sunday matinee. With a large local cast, family-friendly storytelling, and a Thursday buy-one-get-one ticket deal, it’s a chance to see neighbors bring Mark Twain’s classic to life close to home.
   

• ⚾ McCuan sharp on mound, leads Hutchinson to split at Campus (hutchpost.com) — Hutchinson High’s Salthawks baseball team split a road doubleheader at Campus in Wichita, rebounding from a run-rule loss with a 5-0 shutout behind pitcher Brodie McCuan. The team, now 2-14, returns home Friday to host Salina South at Hobart-Detter Field, giving local fans a chance to see if this momentum continues.
