• USD 475 Shines at TASN Showcase (jcpost.com) — Geary County Schools USD 475, based in Junction City, is being recognized statewide for its partnership with Pawnee Mental Health to support student well-being. District staff presented on neuroscience, trauma response, nervous system regulation and leadership teams at the Kansas TASN School Mental Health Showcase, highlighting how local efforts are shaping best practices across Kansas. 
• Grants fund health initiatives (jcpost.com) — New grant funding is headed to Geary County, including support for the Junction City Main Street Market’s business planning and local food access. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas’ Pathways program is investing $90,000 in Live Well Geary County projects, from community health planning to garden improvements and healthier food options for local students.
• Geary County Deputies respond to accidents (jcpost.com) — Geary County deputies handled two recent single-vehicle crashes in the county that matter to Junction City-area drivers. One car rolled down an embankment off I-70 near mile marker 294, while another hit a deer on Range Road; both vehicles were towed and no serious injuries were reported.
