Davids Secures $34 Million Federal Investment to Grow Kansas City's Biomanufacturing Industry, Create Good-Paying Jobs (house.gov) — A new $33.5 million federal grant will fuel the Kansas City BioSecure Manufacturing Tech Hub, aiming to grow biomanufacturing jobs and strengthen medical supply chains across the Kansas City region. Led by BioNexus KC and backed by Rep. Sharice Davids, the investment is expected to attract private capital, expand biotech innovation, and build a highly skilled local workforce.
