Kansas City Burger King Celebrates Grand Reopening with 50% Off Whopper Sandwiches for a Day!

Event Details
On Friday, July 25, the newly remodeled Burger King restaurant at 7736 State Avenue in Kansas City will host its grand reopening event at 11 a.m. Guests can enjoy 50% off Whopper sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at noon. With a state-of-the-art design and enhanced experience across dine-in, pick-up, and drive-thru, Guests will get to experience the refreshed restaurant space and iconic menu items.
This newly renovated Burger King is part of the brand’s goal to achieve an 85-90% modern image across the U.S. by 2028, fueled by more than $700M in investments since the brand announced its “Reclaim the Flame” strategy in 2022. A key part of the brand’s plan is to refresh the system with committed operators and modernized restaurants designed to enhance the Guest experience and bring “Have it Their Way” to life.
Following the ribbon-cutting, local Burger King franchisee Mukesh Dharod and representatives from the Burger King Foundation will present a donation on behalf of the Foundation’s Crown a Classroom program and contribute $500 worth of school supplies to Claude Huyck Elementary School.
“We’re proud to reopen our doors in Kansas City with a fresh new look that reflects where the Burger King brand is headed,” said Mukesh Dharod, local Burger King Franchisee. “This remodel is about more than just a new design — it’s about continuing to serve our community with the experience they deserve. We’re excited for Guests to see the transformation, enjoy their favorite menu items, and create new memories with us for years to come.”
