• La Cygne council orders hearing on dangerous property; prevents residents from returning home (linncountyjournal.com) — La Cygne officials have ordered a condemnation hearing and barred residents from living in a duplex at 825 N. Seventh St. Court after repeated fires and serious structural and electrical hazards were documented. The council set a June 3 hearing to decide whether Unit A can be repaired, while barricades will keep everyone out of both units until safety issues are resolved.
