• Former Leawood priest makes first court appearance in $160K parish theft case (kctv5.com) — Leawood residents may notice heightened attention around Curé of Ars Church after a local priest, Richard Storey, made his first court appearance on a felony theft charge tied to $160,000 allegedly taken from the parish. He turned himself in to Leawood police, is free on bond, and will return to court July 15 as a separate Prairie Village investigation continues.
