• Multi-Vehicle Crash and Rescue on Highway K-18 Near Ogden (kclyradio.com) — A serious four-vehicle crash on K-18 at the East Riley Avenue offramp in Ogden briefly shut down the highway and led to a dramatic bridge rescue Friday night. A woman jumped 70 feet to avoid an oncoming vehicle, was airlifted in critical condition, and is now recovering from multiple fractures, with a GoFundMe started to help cover her expenses. 
• GoFund Me account set up for KSU student who fell from bridge (kwch.com) — A Kansas State student badly hurt after jumping from the K-18 bridge at the Ogden East Riley Avenue off-ramp now has a GoFundMe to help with rent and medical bills. She suffered major injuries and multiple fractures but is reported to be recovering, and organizers are asking the community to donate, share the link, and keep her in their thoughts.
• Headlines for Monday, September 28, 2026 (kansaspublicradio.org) — Among today's statewide headlines is an update on the woman who jumped from a K-18 bridge near Ogden to avoid an oncoming car, falling 70 feet and suffering critical injuries before being rescued and transferred to Topeka.
