• Obituary of Esther Alpha Anderson (fortscott.biz) — Funeral services for longtime nurse Esther Alpha Anderson will be held Saturday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at Battlefield Cemetery just south of Pleasanton, offering local friends and family a chance to say goodbye. Anderson, 93, was born in Devon, Kansas, trained in Fort Scott, and is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver.
