• Delegates Elected as Mayors of Cities at Boys State of Kansas - Ad Astra Radio (adastraradio.com) — A Russell High School student, Joey Hurla, has been elected mayor of the fictional City of Schrag during the 2026 American Legion Boys State of Kansas at Kansas State University. The weeklong program brings teens from across Kansas together to practice government, leadership, and civic responsibility in a hands-on setting.
