Attorney General Delivers to Salina (ksal.com) — Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach visited Salina to deliver free Narcan kits to Kansas Wesleyan University, adding a new safety resource on campus. The naloxone boxes, funded through state and nonprofit partnerships, are meant to quickly reverse suspected fentanyl overdoses and are part of a network of 41 similar locations across Kansas, all aiming to prevent accidental overdose deaths.

Saline County budget 2027: Commissioners and Administrator discuss expectations and process (salinapost.com) — Saline County leaders in Salina have begun shaping priorities for the 2027 budget, focusing on supporting county employees while keeping the mill levy in check. A new Social Services Funding Advisory Committee will vet nonprofit funding requests, and department presentations to commissioners are set for June 23, with additional public involvement dates expected soon.

Bluejays Post Strong Marks At Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Challenge - Ad Astra Radio (adastraradio.com) — A weekend track and field meet in Salina saw Tabor College athletes notch three event titles, multiple top-three finishes, and several NAIA qualifying marks at the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Challenge.
